My specialty is sexual trauma with more than 20 years of training and practices.  I am one of the very few professionals in Japan who specializes in male sexual survivors.  

I finished my Master’s degree in Counseling in the United States and received the California State Domestic Violence Counselor and Rape Crisis Counselor certifications.  Then I have worked in the fields of child abuse, domestic violence, school violence, academic and sexual harassment, and suicide prevention for LGBT+ youth in the US and in Japan.

DARe™ has become an essential part of my therapy approach since sexual trauma survivors often suffer attachment wounds as well which complicates their healing process.
