My specialty is sexual trauma with more than 20 years of training and practices.  I am one of the very few professionals in Japan who specializes in male sexual survivors.  

I finished my Master’s degree in Counseling in the United States and received the California State Domestic Violence Counselor and Rape Crisis Counselor certifications.  Then I have worked in the fields of child abuse, domestic violence, school violence, academic and sexual harassment, and suicide prevention for LGBT+ youth in the US and in Japan.

DARe has become an essential part of my therapy approach since sexual trauma survivors often suffer attachment wounds as well which complicates their healing process.
