Susan Reis

Susan Reis is an integrative somatic practitioner in NYC with roots as a meditation teacher and is currently completing an MSc in Applied Neuroscience. She integrates DARe, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, hypnosis, contemplative presence, and psychosynthesis coaching, specializing in attachment repair, trauma resolution, and nervous system repatterning. Her contemplative background allows her to work skillfully with the deeper layers of the psyche that underlie early attachment patterns.

Her work attunes to preverbal attachment and developmental imprints formed before language, unwinding implicit survival patterns and restoring safety and relational coherence. Through somatic depth, contemplative wisdom, the science of neuroplastic rewiring, and transpersonal integration, she helps clients meet these early patterns with compassion and reorganize into trust, presence, and meaning.

Clients often come to Susan after many paths—therapy, recovery, alternative modalities, or somatic curiosity—seeking deeper, integrative work that reaches the root. Her somatic trauma work supports healing and release, while her developmental tools support conscious growth, bridging the gap between what’s been held and what becomes possible.

Sessions are offered in-person in Manhattan, or online from anywhere in the world.
