Linda Focht
As a licensed psychotherapist, I embrace a “whole person” approach in the treatment of adults struggling with developmental trauma, loss and grief, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and issues with disempowerment, cultural conditioning, and codependency. Inclusion of Somatic Experiencing, a body-aware modality, with other aspects of psychotherapy helps to access and resolve long held, sometimes hidden, responses to overwhelming circumstances. I am passionate that each of us, as individuals and as valued members of our human communities, is empowered to live our lives to our fullest and most enjoyable potential!
I specialize in attending to early attachment adaptations and how these may have impacted your experiences in relating to yourself and to others incorporating the very rich Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience (DARe) model. Inclusion of the Internal Family Systems approach fosters a comprehensive exploration into how these adaptations have been internalized and serves to unburden and re-assimilate fragmented aspects of the Self.
