Cait Sarazin
Cait is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Certified Practitioner of DARe (Diane Poole Heller’s Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience), and an ICC Certified Trauma-Informed Coach. Cait uses somatic techniques (somatic experiencing, sensorimotor, hakomi) combined with parts work/IFS and DARE attachment theory techniques to release the traumatic energy and memories lodged in the body.
Cait helps people with complex trauma move out of the isolation of survival mode into a connected life aligned with what they care about, along with creating deep relationships with themselves and others.
Cait’s work is shaped and informed by animism, ancestral lineage knowledge and repair, and shamanism practices. They hold an anti-oppressive therapy practice, meaning if desired by the client, bringing awareness to and challenging how patterns of power / societal inequities impact personal struggles.Â
Cait is a survivor of CPTSD, domestic violence, and sexual assault. They are white, able-bodied, non-binary human living in Ecuador. Cait is from the USA, but has lived abroad in over 25 countries for the last 8 years.Â
