“Sometimes, talking about shame takes great courage…”
Facing your shame and the effects it has on your life might sound uncomfortable and even scary. And truthfully, it can be because shame is so deeply personal.
However, choosing to face and learn from our own imperfections shows remarkable bravery.
From what I’ve witnessed throughout my career… it’s when we explore, acknowledge and accept our own vulnerabilities that we become more resilient.
But breaking the cycle of feeling ashamed isn’t something that happens all at once––it can take time and patience.
You see, you can’t avoid your emotions selectively. When you block bad feelings, you block the good ones too. By numbing shame, you numb joy.
Yet, when you understand the roots of shame and approach it with awareness, curiosity, compassion, and empathy, you can also let in other, more powerful emotions: Love. Hope. Awe. Excitement.
And that’s how you begin to heal.
With your heart open, you can rewrite the narrative playing in your head. You can quiet that inner critic. You can develop confidence and see your worth.
You don’t have to keep hiding. You don’t have to prove yourself. Without condition, you deserve a fulfilling and joyful life.
That’s why I’m here to guide you and support you in your healing journey, particularly as we confront challenging emotions that often accompany shame… such as envy, anger, or anxiety.
I truly believe healing is possible—both for ourselves and for others—by learning simple and practical skills that we can incorporate into our daily lives.
As we navigate these complex emotions, I’d be honored if you would join me in this journey of healing and learning.

How do I let go of shame when I feel I’m not enough?
You are more than your shame. Here’s how to break free…
Have you ever been too harsh on yourself, excessively self-critical or react too strongly to small mistakes?
Maybe it was something simple––you spilled coffee on your shirt and felt an overwhelming sense of embarrassment—as if that stain defined your entire day.
Or maybe you stumbled over your words during a presentation at work and couldn’t shake off the feeling that everyone saw you as incompetent.
Moments like this may seem trivial, but they can be signs of a deeper issue: unresolved shame.
Shame is a powerful emotion that can shape our self-perception and interactions with the world.
It’s the voice that tells us we’re not good enough—that we have to hide our true selves to avoid judgment.
The problem with that is, when shame goes unaddressed, it can lead to a cycle of negative self-talk and self-doubt. It can hold us back from taking risks, forming meaningful relationships, and embracing our full potential.
Instead of moving forward, we stay stuck, unable to heal… disconnected, anxious, even damaging our physical health.
The good news is, there are ways to break free from this cycle and start your journey towards the healing and self-acceptance you deserve.
Understanding the origins of shame is a crucial first step.
When we start feeling shame, we often try to protect ourselves by hiding behind a “mask” that keeps us from feeling judged. But this only distances us from our true selves––and can even push away people who can help us feel better about ourselves and give us the support we need.
Developing self-awareness is key in the healing process. When we recognize that shame is a universal experience that affects us all, we can begin to challenge its hold on our lives.
By understanding ourselves and our actions better, we can make clearer decisions that are more aligned with our true selves.
The antidote to shame is empathy and compassion. When we quiet the inner critic that fuels our shame, we take away its power.
This freedom allows us to break the cycle of shame, resulting in a healthier life, where we embrace our vulnerabilities and form stronger, more satisfying relationships.
Ready to overcome deep-seated shame, restore your confidence, and begin a journey toward healthier attachment?
