Susan Reis

Susan Reis is an integrative somatic practitioner based in New York City, completing an MS in Applied Neuroscience, working at the level where emotions, language, sensations, and meaning converge at the sense of self. She integrates Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experiencing (DARe), Somatic Experiencing, compassion-based resilience training, brainspotting, hypnosis, contemplative presence and depth, and psychosynthesis-informed developmental work, with a focus on relational repair, emotional regulation, nervous system reorganization, and conscious developmental growth. Working bottom-up through the nervous system and top-down through developmental depth, her approach is grounded in modern neuroscience and deepened through contemplative wisdom. Through a relational and attuned approach, Susan helps clients meet adaptive patterns with compassion and presence, allowing the nervous system, attachment system, and sense of self to reorganize toward greater presence, intimacy, and agency. 

Susan is also an approved provider for DARe students’ personal sessions.
